Finance Officer | Weymouth | £30-35kTalent Finance are delighted to be exclusively partnering with our client to appoint a Finance Officer.This is a hands on, operational finance role within a well-established manufacturing business where finance sits at the heart of day to day decision making.Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a key role across the full transactional cycle while gaining exposure to reporting, reconciliations and month end processes.The OpportunityThis role offers real breadth and ownership across:• Sales ledger management including invoicing, PODs, credit notes and allocation of receipts • Active credit control and management of aged debt • Purchase ledger processing, supplier payments and bank transfers • Bank, supplier and VAT reconciliations • Supporting month end, including VAT returns and balance sheet reconciliations • Daily cash flow, debtor and creditor reporting for senior leadership • Supporting the annual audit process • Maintaining and improving finance processes and documentation• It is a role suited to someone who enjoys being organised, structured and accurate, while also being comfortable working at pace.About You• Have previous experience within a finance or bookkeeping role in an SME environment • Be working towards full AAT Qualification • Be confident in Excel including VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables • Have supported reconciliations and month end processes • Be proactive, reliable and comfortable taking ownership of your workload• Strong attention to detail and a steady, dependable approach are essential.Why This Role?• Established and growing manufacturing environment • Direct exposure to the Financial Controlle
