Job Description As part of a team of two Finance Managers for the UK, you will act as the Commercial Partner to multiple service lines within Vialto, supporting Partners in commercial topics such as working capital management, month-end and year-end close activities. You will also mentor and support a team of three Project Accountants, acting as the main point of contact for Billing & Collections, Regional Finance, and the Shared Services Accounting Centre. The role includes collaboration with budgeting and forecasting teams and providing financial performance analysis to support management decision-making and profitability, while maintaining strong financial controls over revenue and working capital. Major Responsibilities Month-End, Reporting & Controls Support month-end and year-end close for internal reporting and external statutory reporting Ensure ongoing compliance with established policies and internal control procedures Ensure accurate revenue recognition through regular WIP reconciliations, quarterly attestations, and minimising aged WIP Ensure all monthly reports and filings to government bodies (tax returns, statistics reporting) are completed accurately and on time Support internal and external audits Revenue, Billing & Working Capital Support Revenue Accountants in ensuring regular client billing and identifying opportunities to minimise WIP Monitor performance targets including billing and collection goals, utilisation, margins, and VVN metrics Act as local contact for centralised debt collection team Investigate and resolve finance and admin queries raised by client engagement teams Financial Planning & Analysis Support UK Finance Director with annual budgets, forecasts, and business plan updates Assist in monthly operating reviews including financial analysis, variances, risks, and opportunities Provide management reporting to business leaders including variance analysis vs budget and prior periods Deliver ad-hoc financial analysis and projects for territory leadership and Europe CFO Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Group functions (Legal, Tax, HR) on regulatory and statutory compliance Ensure local compliance with Group policies and report material issues to regional management Act as primary finance contact for business leadership, shared services, and IT teams Qualifications Desired Capabilities and Skills Strong business acumen with focus on working capital management Practical and commercial problem-solving mindset Analytical and results-oriented Proactive and self-driven Strong written and verbal communication skills in English Collaborative and diplomatic with senior stakeholders Strong technology skills, especially advanced Excel Education, Training & Experience Significant experience in a professional services environment Exposure to complex, matrixed organisations and shared services models Line management experience FP&A experience Strong understanding of accounting processes including: – Revenue recognition – Billing and working capital – Accounts payable and payroll – Corporate expense allocation and intercompany CIMA / ACCA / ACA qualified with at least two years in a commercial role Additional Information Location: Hybrid, London.
