Our client is a long-established, dynamic company with over 45 years of history. Over the past six years, this company has significantly expanded its community activity, and now seeks a Finance Manager to join a small, highly collaborative Head Office team. Flexible working is supported to fit your lifestyle. The Role Reporting to the Head of Finance, you will manage day-to-day financial operations and support a trading subsidiary. You will supervise one direct report (Finance Administrator) and work closely with a small but expert senior management team. You will take responsibility for management accounts, budgets, cash management, payroll, VAT, Gift Aid compliance, and the smooth running of financial systems, all while enabling the charity to focus on its mission. About You Accounting or business qualification preferred Demonstrable finance experience with strong understanding of accounting principles and practices Highly proficient in Excel and major Microsoft programs; experience with Xero or similar accounting systems advantageous Strong attention to detail with ability to maintain compliance under Charities SORP and Companies Act regulations Able to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills Proactive, enthusiastic, and collaborative approach to problem-solving and team working Line management experience is preferable but not essential Experience working with external financial or service providers desirable Key Respons
