An established, international business operating within the commercial services sector is seeking a Group Finance Manager to join its Preston-based finance team.The organisation has experienced rapid growth, increasing turnover from £33m to £42m in the last year, alongside international expansion across Europe, North America and the Middle East. As a result of this growth and recent change across the finance leadership structure, the business is now focused on building a stable, high-performing finance team in Preston to support its next phase.This is a key hire and a highly visible role, offering the opportunity to take ownership, embed strong financial foundations and help shape how the finance function operates going forward.Your role as Group Finance Manager Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will lead the day-to-day finance operation while managing and developing a relatively new team. Initially, the focus will be on strengthening controls, improving reporting and ensuring consistency, before progressing into more strategic and commercial activity.Key responsibilities include:Ownership of the month-end close and group reporting processPreparation and review of management accounts and financial statementsBalance sheet control, reconciliations and intercompany processingBudgeting, forecasting and financial performance analysisOperational cashflow management and long-term cash forecastingOversight, coaching and development of junior finance staffReporting KPIs and identifying risks and improvement opportunitiesSupporting audit processes and statutory accounts preparationBusiness partnering with operational, commercial and senior stakeholdersSupporting systems and process improvements (NAV / Business Central environment)Involvement in international finance activity and bus
