We are currently working with an Organisation in South Wales who are recruiting for a Finance Manager to join their team. Role: Finance Manager Location: South West Set-up: Hybrid – ideally 1-2 days per week on-site Rate: £600 per day via umbrella, inside IR35 Duration: currently signed off until the end of the financial year / March 2026 Hours: Full-time position Overview: • Maintenance of the Fixed asset register - including changes to locations, asset owners, disposals and write offs, impairments • Aged AUC reviews and depreciation reviews - confirming the charges have been allocated correctly and value is correct • Performing asset verification, either via physical site visits or via teams meetings, to confirm the assets are still in use • Contribute to reporting processes to ensure the financial position and performance of different sections of the organisation is understood and key issues are rectified, ensuring appropriate process is observed with control over sub ledgers and integration with the general ledger • Manage the accurate recording of transactions in the ERP general ledger, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal controls and improving efficiency and controls of financial processes, methodologies and environments where possible • Support the efficient delivery of internal and external audits (including preparation of annual reports and other external reporting requirements) • Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders including our outsourced partner, other finance teams, divisional and group stakeholders where appropriate • Compile and review balance sheet reconciliations supported by appropriate testing, ensuring full compliance with internal controls and our minimum expected re
