KennedyPearce afre hiring a Finance Manager, 6 month contract for a media company in West London. Reporting to the Finance Director, this role sits within the EMEA Direct-to-Consumer finance team and focuses on financial planning, reporting, and cost management. The Finance Manager provides high-quality financial insight and analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Support core financial planning cycles, including forecasts, annual operating plans, and long-range plansActualise and maintain forecast models using driver-based assumptionsPrepare and contribute to planning and forecast presentation decks for senior stakeholdersTrack actuals versus forecast, clearly explaining variances and key driversIdentify financial risks and opportunities and communicate them effectivelyManage close and forecast reporting activitiesReview cost management processes and identify areas for improvement Provide ad-hoc support to the Finance Director, including: Commercial initiative analysisRevenue and cost analysisExternal data and analysis requestsProcess reviews and improvements The ideal candidate is ACA/CIMA qualified, has strong FP&A experience within the media sector, advanced Excel and financial systems skills (SAP/BW, Cognos), and a proven ability to partner with operational and commercial teams. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills are essential, along with the ability to work across multiple systems, teams, and locations.
