Role: Finance Lead (Expense Management)Location: LondonSalary: £35,000–£45,000 (depending on experience) This is an exciting opportunity to join a major organisation with a broad international footprint. The finance team is highly collaborative and plays a critical role in supporting the business as it continues to expand. As the Finance Lead, you’ll take ownership of key financial processes, guide junior staff, and shape how the organisation manages expenses across a workforce on a large scale. If you enjoy a mix of hands-on finance work and problem-solving, this role offers plenty of scope. Key Responsibilities: Processing financial transactions across AP, AR, payroll and bankingPreparing reconciliations, journals, financial schedules and supporting month-end tasksProducing regular internal finance reports and supporting wider reporting cyclesPreparing client reporting schedules and carrying out transaction analysisManaging treasury-related items including reconciliations, intercompany and currency balancesSupporting ongoing process improvements, strengthening controls and enhancing efficiencyCollaborating with stakeholders across the business to ensure smooth financial operationsOverseeing the end-to-end employee expenses process, ensuring accurate coding, approvals and complianceReviewing high-volume expense claims and resolving discrepancies in a timely mannerEnsuring all VAT rules on employee expenses are applied correctly and identifying errors or reclaim opportunitiesActing as the main point of contact for expenses queries from staff and managersWorking closely with HR and payroll teams to streamline expense reimbursementsMonitoring adherence to expense policies and supporting updates or improvements to policy and train
