This pivotal role involves overseeing financial management within a college environment, supporting strategic and operational needs across multiple centres. Day-to-day of the role: Prepare monthly management accounts, including monitoring income streams and balance sheet reconciliations.Ensure accurate coding and reporting of income transactions.Collaborate with internal teams such as MIS, admissions, and operations to support financial integrity and reporting.Manage funding agreements and ensure compliance with relevant contracts and documentation.Develop and maintain income monitoring models and forecasting tools.Provide financial advice and support to budget holders, identifying and resolving variances.Stay updated with funding policies including High Needs/SEND, 16–19, Apprenticeships, and AEB.Prepare costings, estimates, and financial models for strategic planning.Ensure confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations. Required Skills & Qualifications: AAT qualified or part/qualified CCAB (or equivalent).Minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting, with a focus on financial management and control.<
