AP/Finance Supervisor£40-45K Central London (Hybrid Working)My client are an investment company based in Central London and are looking for an AP/Finance Supervisor to join the team.Duties Include:To oversee the payment function within Tax Accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments across multiple entities. The role involves supervising two Payment Assistants, maintaining strong internal controls, and driving process improvements to support the team’s efficiency and compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support two Payment Assistants, providing guidance and training.Oversee preparation and processing of payments for all entities under tax-efficient investment products.Monitor and improve payment processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency.Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.Review supporting documentation (minutes, resolutions, filings) for accuracy.Liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve queries promptly.Manage the department mailbox used for information requests from both the wider business and external parties, ensuring timely and accurate responses.Assist with month-end and year-end close activities as required.Prepare and review reports for management on payment status and KPIs.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the Accounting teamRequirements:Strong leadership and team management skills.Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Proactive and ideas-driven approa
