We want you to empower the people we support to live their lives how they want to, whether that's travelling the world or spending time in their local park All we ask is that you have the commitment and drive to encourage and guide the people we support to make this happen.This position is all about building relationships with the people you will be supporting while helping them with their day-to-day routine in line with their personal support plans such as dressing, personal care, finances, medication, attending any appointments along with employment, Volunteering and hobbies.About the role:Whilst we aren't necessarily looking for someone with previous experience, we do require that candidates have good understanding of social care. You should embody United Response's aim to provide the very highest level of care to the person we support and always do so with a smile on your face.The person you'll be supporting attends a day centre on some days between 9am and 3pm, so your working hours will typically fall outside of these times.We operate a rolling two-week rota which includes a mixture of mornings, afternoons, evenings and sleep-ins. Some example shifts include:Monday: 7:00am - 8:30am (following sleep-in) / 15:30pm - 21:00pmTuesday: 14:30pm - 22:00pm (includes sleep-in) / 15:30pm - 21:00pm
