Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload including divorce, private children matters, non-molestation orders and financial remedy workTake responsibility for files from start to finish, including taking over ongoing mattersAttend court for directions hearings, first appointments and FDRsDraft legal documents and maintain effective communication with clients and external partiesEnsure full compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements, including LAA rules and the Solicitors ActSupport and oversee junior team members, including conducting file reviews Person Specification: Qualified Family Solicitor with at least 2-3 years' PQE (or equivalent experience)Experience across a wide range of family law matters, including children, divorce, finances and domestic abuseKnowledge of TOLATA matters is advantageousStrong client care skills and high-quality drafting abilityConfident working within legal aid processes and billing frameworksCapable of supervising other fee earners and meeting LAA supervisor criteriaCommercially aware, with the ability to help develop and grow the department What's on Offer?
