Salary • Based at our Shared Service Centre – located at Stockport (this role is office based due to the nature of support required) • Salary: £24,600 per annum Looking for a varied role where people, facilities and projects come together? At Stagecoach, our Shared Service Centre plays a vital role in supporting colleagues across the business. We’re looking for a Facilities & People Assistant to be the welcoming face of our reception, while also supporting our People team with recruitment, apprenticeship administration and ad-hoc project coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organised, and building experience across facilities, talent acquisition and early careers. What you’ll be doing: Acting as the first point of contact at reception, welcoming visitors and colleagues and creating a professional, friendly environment Supporting the day-to-day running of reception and shared office facilities, including meeting rooms, access, and general site coordination Assisting the People team with talent acquisition administration, including interview scheduling, candidate coordination and onboarding support Supporting apprenticeship and early careers administration, maintaining records and liaising with internal and external stakeholders Coordinating ad-hoc people and facilities projects, tracking actions and supporting delivery Providing general administrative support across the Shared Service Centre as required What we’re looking for: A friendly, professional, and people-focused approach Strong organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities Confidence communicating with a wide range of stakeholders Good attention to detail and a proactive, can-do attitude An interest in people operations, recruitment or early careers (experience desirable but not essential) Why choose Stagecoach?
