JOB TITLE: External Contracts ManagerLOCATION: Eastleigh, Hampshire SALARY: £42,000/Annum DURATION: Perm – 37 Hours per week, 104161The Employer:We are looking to fill the role of an External Contracts Manager within a housing environment, Our client is ambitious and has a huge 5 year plan which we are seeking this key member of the team to assist with, their main aim is to create a sustainable future for social housing, building new homes and investing in existing ones creating vibrant, thriving communities.Responsibilities Take ownership of the Roofing Programme, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality replacement roof coverings.Manage and oversee a variety of externally sourced contracts, including windows, doors, external works, and specialist projects.Monitor performance, budgets, and contractual obligations to ensure compliance with agreed standards.Foster strong, collaborative relationships with partner providers to ensure consistent service delivery.Challenge and influence contractors where necessary to drive improvements and ensure value for money.Provide technical expertise on complex maintenance and refurbishment projects.Regularly visit sites, attend contractor meetings, and collaborate with colleagues in the office to support operational excellence.Uphold company values by ensuring customer service remains at the heart of all projects.
