We are a product research team developing new financial software for accountants and bookkeepers. We are not selling anything. We want to pay for your expert opinion to help us understand your real-world, daily workflow. We are looking for an experienced UK or EU-based bookkeeper for a 1-hour, paid video consultation to discuss your daily pain points. The Deliverable: A 1-hour recorded video call where you (optionally) share your screen (with non-sensitive data) and walk us through your workflow for: Processing supplier invoices (Bills) Handling credit notes from suppliers Reconciling bank statements and managing VAT (MTD compliance) Making month-end journals We are especially interested in: Which tasks take up the most manual data entry time? What software stack do you use? (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks Online, Sage 50/Cloud, FreeAgent, or other EU platforms like DATEV, Exact, etc.) What "hacks" or spreadsheets do you use to fill the gaps? What is the single most frustrating or "clunky" part of your job? Ideal Candidate: 5+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience in the UK or EU. Daily, expert-level user of Xero or QuickBooks Online. Experience with multi-currency, MTD, and VAT is a huge plus. Articulate, candid, and willing to share your frustrations.
