Description: We are looking for an experienced development team (not beginner ) to take over and improve a custom Laravel project that connects multiple supplier feeds with our Magento store. Current Setup: Custom Laravel middleware: Collects product feeds from multiple suppliers Normalizes attributes, titles, stock, and pricing policies Manages orders (we work with dropshipping, so one customer order can generate multiple supplier orders) Handles pricing policies for our products Sends invoices to an ERP for billing Magento store: Receives updated products, stock, and prices from Laravel Sends orders back to Laravel for supplier handling The Challenges: The original team is no longer available. Our current support team lacks the expertise to fix bugs and optimize the system. Poor architecture is causing issues with both Laravel and Magento. What We Need: Short-term (Urgent): Fix critical bugs in the Laravel system Stabilize synchronization of products, stock, orders, and ERP invoicing Implement a traceability/logging system in Laravel so we can track issues: When and where an error occurs What the error is about (supplier feed issue, API error, stock mismatch, etc.) Alerts/notifications when processes fail Mid-term: Assess if our Laravel solution is scalable Suggest improvements or a possible replacement (e.g. PIM, middleware, or other system) Review and optimize pricing policies Long-term: Evaluate if we should keep Magento (possibly upgrade to Hyvä theme) or migrate to Shopify Work with us on a roadmap for future growth What We Are Looking For: Proven Laravel expertise (please show projects where you built or maintained middleware/integration systems) Strong e-commerce experience (Magento, Shopify, or other major platforms) Experience with dropshipping workflows (multi-supplier, order splitting) Knowledge of ERP integrations and invoicing flows Ability to implement traceability, monitoring & error logging systems A team that can provide results and guidance (not just patch bugs) Excellent communication and ability to recommend best practices Our Mindset: We are open to hearing your suggestions and tools that could help us work the way we need.
