Full time Continuing opportunity Be an integral part of a growing team in a busy work unit, delivering seamless operational support via excellent communication, organisation, and client service skills Base Salary $ 112,628 - $ 122,702 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The Executive Assistant role provides a full suite of professional administrative support services to the Executive Director, Workplace Relations and Compliance in a timely and effective manner. As the first point of contact representing the Executive Director, Workplace Relations and Compliance, this role requires extensive administrative and organisational skills to manage a high volume of activity as well as client service skills, tact, and diplomacy. Your key responsibilities will be to: build and manage effective working rapport with key stakeholders and staff across the University and with external stakeholders provide professional executive support tailored to the Executive Director, Workplace Relations and Compliance, to ensure that the executive’s office functions seamlessly represent the office in interactions, manage and prioritise matters brought to the Executive Director of Workplace Relations and Compliance utilise your extensive administrative and organisational skills, client service skills, tact, and diplomacy to manage and prioritise matters requiring the Executive Director’s attention deliver professional executive support that is aligned with the University’s strategic goals coordinate and support project planning and execution, often under direction from senior leaders. About you bachelors degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience well-developed organisation, relationship building and influencing skills high resilience to work in a busy, ever evolving work environment, that at times can be highly emotive and require urgent attention to serious matters ability to work both independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and exercising sound judgement in resolving matters that may arise as part of normal daily work ability to apply empathy and sound judgment to sensitive matters diary management experience demonstrable time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes sound general understanding of the project life cycle, project documentation, project standards and methodologies advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite Sponsorship / work rights for Australia You must have unrestricted work rights in Australia for the duration of this employment to be eligible to apply.
