We are looking for an experienced Excel expert to design and build a planning and forecasting tool for aircraft engine shop visits – removal of engines from an aircraft to be stripped, inspected, repaired and rebuilt. The tool should serve both as a maintenance database and a forecasting system, providing clear reports, simulations, and cost projections. Power BI experience would also be beneficial. System Features • Centralised database of engine maintenance records. • Protected formulas (end-user cannot see or alter logic). • Manual adjustments + simulation options with version control. • User-friendly interface – intuitive, clear, and easily shareable Required Skills • Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, macros, scenario modelling) • PowerBI skills and ability to design clear reporting dashboards and protected calculation logic • Strong data handling and visualisation skills • (Aviation domain expertise is not required – all engine-related data and planning assumptions will be supplied.)
