Event Host required in Central London

We’re looking for a full-time Host to support a busy schedule of corporate and hospitality events in central London. The setting is formal, the pace can shift quickly and the role involves steady contact with guests throughout the day. Shifts take place in the morning and afternoon.

Role overview
Job Title: Event Host
Location: Central London
Pay Rate: from £12.21 per hour
Hours: full-time and part-time available
Rota: Weekly rota Monday to Sunday

Key responsibilities
• Greeting guests on arrival and ensuring they are checked in smoothly.
• Guiding attendees to the correct rooms, stages or meeting points.
• Keeping the flow of the event steady and stepping in when queues build up.
• Supporting registration desks and backstage teams when required.
• Handling simple enquiries with a calm, confident manner.
• Reporting any issues to the event manager so they can be resolved quickly.

Requirements
• Previous experience in hosting or front-of-house work at events, hotels or corporate venues.
• Clear communication and a comfortable presence around large groups of people.
• Strong timekeeping, reliability and the ability to stay composed during busy periods.
• Full-time availability for morning and afternoon shifts.
• Smart presentation: uniform includes a black knee-length dress, nude tights for ladies or black shirt and smart trousers for males, and black smart shoes
