With a strong commitment to sustainability, quality, and customer satisfaction, they are now seeking an experienced and commercially astute Estimator to join their solar PV division. This role will focus on new-build developments and large-scale commercial projects, supporting continued growth as demand for clean energy solutions increases. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for solar PV installations across housing developments, industrial units, schools, and other commercial sites. Estimator - Key Responsibilities Produce detailed and competitive estimates for solar PV systems on new build and commercial sitesInterpret architectural drawings, M&E plans, and specification documents to assess project scopeLiaise with developers, main contractors, consultants, and internal teams to clarify requirements and offer value-engineered solutionsConduct take-offs and calculate materials, labour, and equipment costs based on system design and site conditionsCoordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate quotations and lead timesSupport the pre-construction process, including contribution to bid submissions, tender interviews, and design meetingsEnsure all estimates comply with relevant building regulations, electrical standards, and DNO (G99/G98) requirementsConduct or assist with site surveys when necessary to verify feasibility and scopeTrack market pricing and industry trends to maintain competitiveness and identify potential savingsAssist with the handover of projects to operations/delive
