You’ll play a key role in managing enquiries, conducting viewings, negotiating offers, and supporting clients throughout their moving journey. We’re looking for someone confident, proactive, and great with people, with solid estate agency experience and a passion for delivering outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming telephone calls, enquiries, and messages.
  • Proactively follow up on leads generated from property portals and websites, managing both viewing and valuation enquiries by phone and email.
  • Register buyers and sellers who visit or contact the office, arranging viewings and valuations efficiently.
  • Coordinate and attend property viewings, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • Gather and relay viewing feedback to sellers quickly and constructively.
  • Provide sellers with regular marketing updates every 2–4 weeks, including offering guidance on pricing and strategy.
  • Present and negotiate offers via phone and email, ensuring the best outcomes for clients.
  • Assist with sales progression to help secure smooth and successful transactions.
  • Support a variety of administrative tasks, including preparing memorandums of sale, updating window/TV displays, and compiling property details.

About You

The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to build strong rapport with clients. You will be confident communicating both face-to-face and over the phone, thrive under pressure, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Essential qualities & experience:

  • Previous experience in estate agency.
  • Good local knowledge of the Tunbridge Wells area.
  • Confident, professional telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
  • Strong organisation skills with the ability to prioritise and multitask.
  • Driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
  • Smart, professional presentation.
  • Proficient in basic Microsoft Office programs.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence and own car.
  • Sense of humour and a positive, team-focused attitude.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8:45am – 5:00pm
  • Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
  • 37.5-hour working week (5 days).
  • Saturday working is essential; a weekday off in lieu will be provided.

Holiday entitlement

  • 28 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays).
  • After 3 years of continuous service: +1 day per year of service, up to a maximum of 32 days (pro rata for part-time staff).
  • Additional day off for your work anniversary (to be taken within a 2-week window and scheduled around business needs).
