Job Objective: To support the Bank’s senior management in the execution of Bank’s ESG strategy initiatives and corporate strategy and development plans within China. The specialist will focus on coordination, reporting support, data analysis and governance, strategic analysis assistance, and ensuring cross-functional alignment to drive the Bank’s long-term sustainable growth and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Coordination & Meeting Management: Coordinate and organize internal sustainability-related meetings (e.g., Sustainability Steering Committees), including managing agendas, preparing high-quality materials, recording minutes, and rigorously tracking the implementation of resolutions. Collaborate with various departments (Finance, Risk, Compliance, Operations, HR, etc.) to review, streamline, and optimize business processes related to ESG integration, thereby enhancing organizational and operational efficiency. Strategic Research and Planning: Assist in strategic research analysis and formulation, conducting deep-dive analysis on macroeconomic, industry, and sustainability trends to provide data and insights for the Bank’s medium-to-long-term planning. ESG Reporting and Data Collaboration: Coordinate the collaborative drafting of sustainability-related reports, liaising with internal data owners to collect, verify, and standardize data inputs for external disclosures (e.g., Annual ESG Report, Environment Information Disclosure Report, etc). Regulatory & Governance Support: Monitor, summarize, and disseminate the latest policies and guidelines from Chinese financial regulators (NFRA, PBOC) and OCBC Group on ESG and Green Finance. Collaboration with cross-functional and branches, assist in optimizing process, enhancing overall efficiency, and ensuring strategic goals are effectively integrated into the Bank’s performance management framework. Experience & Education: Bachelor's degree or above. 5 years or above of experience in banking industry. Good organizational, cross-functional communication, and coordination skills. Strong analytical and strategic thinking, with the ability to translate data into clear, actionable reports for senior audiences. Familiarity with fundamental ESG concepts and the Green Finance regulatory landscape in China.
