A hedge fund is looking to hire an equity swaps middle office specialist in London. You will get significant exposure to trading & markets and you’ll be expected to work on a diverse slate of automation, streamlining and efficiency projects alongside BAU in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will have: 2-7 years of middle office/trade support experience in an investment bank or hedge fund and exposure in prime brokerage;Equity Swaps product experience is essential;A technical toolkit in either Python or SQL would be beneficial;Experience in project management and delivering change;Highly collaborative; able to build relationships with finance, operations, quant, tech and trading teams;Outstanding communication skills; ability to respond rapidly, and analytically, to situations as they arise;Interest in / passion for the markets;A strong academic pedigree from a top university;Strong risk management and controls experience.
