Job Description:

Experienced Support professional required for Equities Front Office Connectivity team. The role will focus on Level 1 & 2 trade floor support of electronic trading platforms in EMEA, as well as furthering the business aims with selective code development and deployment.

The role will include validating business requirements across vendor platform supported workflows, and reviewing & testing associated code changes. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the vendor development team, ensuring that deliverables meet functional expectations and are robustly tested before deployment, as well as producing home grown enrichments and augmentations tested to the same standard.

Key Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Level 1 & 2 support of third-party electronic RFQ trading platform TBricks
  • Responding to Front Office and Middle Office trade support queries
  • Enriching TBricks middle-layer, and ULLink plugins
  • FIX client on-boarding and migration
  • Client-side and market-side FIX certification and on-boarding
  • Project-managing application upgrades and client-driven enhancement requests
  • QA testing and production release cycle

Qualifications/ Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of TBricks is essential
  • Familiarity with TBricks LUA essential
  • A Detailed knowledge of the FIX protocol is highly desirable
  • Experience in FIX client on-boarding and certification
  • Experience in both client-side and exchange-side FIX connectivity
  • Proven track record in Level 2 support of electronic trading platforms within a trade floor environment
  • Strong understanding of ancillary elements of Equities, such as RFQs, RSPs and ETFs
  • Proven experience in software testing or QA roles, ideally within financial services or trading environments
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective test scenarios
  • Strong coding background, preferably in Java
  • Familiarity with Python desirable
  • Good general business knowledge, understanding particularly Equity products and algorithmic trading
  • Understanding of modern client trading practices, global interactions and flows
