Environmental & Sustainability Manager (Supply Chains)Role: Environmental & Sustainability Project ManagerSpecialism(s): Environmental Management, Sustainability, Sustainable Development, Supply Chains, Project Management, Retail, Environmental Compliance, Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR), Sustainability Best PracticeType: Contract, Daily RateDuration: 6 Months (Initial Duration)Start: ASAP / UrgentLocation: London (Hybrid)Pay Rate: £300 - £370 per day (Inside IR35, via Umbrella)Environmental & Sustainability Manager (Supply Chains)CPS Group UK are delighted to be working with a leading global retail organisation to appoint a seasoned Environmental & Sustainability (Project) Manager to create and implement long-term sustainability initiatives to ensure the business is compliant and operates responsibly whilst remaining highly competitive.The role is a 6-month initial contract, based out of the UK HQ in London.Role Requirements Play a key role in supporting long-term targets aligned with business sustainability objectives whilst also supporting similar ad-hoc projects Monitor compliance regulation updates and policies alongside internal teams, communicating change internally Manage extended producer responsibility (EPR) schemes and facilitate vendor EPR training Acting SME for environmental and sustainability initiatives across the business Enhance sustainability reporting systems in conjunction with internal IT teams Oversee sustainability projects (monitoring progress, evaluating impact and ensuring timely on-budget completion) Set clear, measurable sustainability targets and identify areas for improvement Produce reports for senior management on initiative effectiveness Represent the business on key compliance projects (e.g. Deforestation)Required Skills & Experience Ex
