A degree (or equivalent) in Environmental Health or a related field, with evidence of CPD.
Experience in communicable disease control, health protection, or health & safety enforcement.
Strong knowledge of Environmental Health legislation and guidance.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to influence and build trust.
A flexible approach to working across the Vale, Cardiff, and Bridgend, sometimes outside normal office hours.
Professional membership (e.g. CIEH) would be an advantage.
What we offer:

Competitive salary (Grade 9, SCP 31–35).
Hybrid and flexible working to support work-life balance.
