We are seeking a qualified and experienced Environmental Health / Food Safety Officer to carry out official food hygiene and standards inspections in accordance with the Food Law Code of Practice for Category C & D premises.Key Responsibilities:Conduct food hygiene and standards inspections for Category C & D premises.Ensure compliance with relevant food safety legislation and regulations.Provide advice and guidance to businesses on food safety best practices.Prepare accurate inspection reports and maintain records in line with statutory requirements.Work with colleagues to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.Requirements:Appropriate qualification in Environmental Health or Food Safety.Experience in food hygiene inspections and regulatory enforcement.Knowledge of the Food Law Code of Practice.Strong communication and report-writing skills.
