Robert Half Technology are assisting a Aerospace organisation to recruit an Enterprise Architect on an initial 6 month contract basis. Bedford Based Role Strategic Architecture Development The Enterprise Architect will define and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks encompassing IT and OT domains.Establish and enforce architectural principles, policies, and standards.Align architecture with MOD standards i.e. Secure by Design, JSP 453 and Defence Digital policies.Lead on documenting current state as-is systems/networks and define to-be architecture requirements Technology Integration Design architectures that bridge traditional IT systems (networks, cloud, applications) with OT environments (SCADA, ICS, sensors, and control systems).Work with multiple functions to translate functional and non-functional requirements for applications/systems/networks into technical solutionsEnsure secure data exchange between IT and OT systems while maintaining operational integrity. Governance & Compliance Establish architecture principles and standards in line with JSPs, NIST, and ISO/IEC frameworks.Lead on writing/developing artefacts such as HLD, LLD, SyOps, System Security Plans, Requirements Traceability Matrices, RACI, etc.Ensure compliance with Cyber Essentials Plus, DefStan 05-138, ISNs and relevant defence security regulations. Stakeholder Engagement Communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, mediate complex discussions, gain support for initiatives and ensure architectural coherence.Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on technology roadmaps and risk mitigation.Guide risk-based, complex architectural decisions and lead architectural governance.Desi
