- The Account Manager – Corporate Markets is a key client‑facing role on GLG’s Corporate Sales team, based in London, and plays a vital part in GLG’s relationships with leading Technology, Payments, FinTech, Software, and Information Services companies across EMEA. The Account Manager engages and manages client relationships, ensuring they fully realise the value of GLG’s platform, insights, and expert network. They will have responsibility to develop both large and mid-sized firms, collaborating with a team of Client Solutions and Research professionals to bring new project ideas to clients. - Key Responsibilities
- Directly engage and build relationships across all seniority levels within our clients to articulate GLG’s brand and tailor our value proposition
- Partner with GLG’s EMEA-wide Client Solutions team to retain and grow existing client relationships
- Identify growth opportunities, build and execute account plans and realise objectives by helping to lead and prioritise GLG’s client service teams
- Collaborate with colleagues – sales, marketing, legal, research, finance, technology – to solve complex business issues and successfully bring these to market
- Work alongside senior stakeholders in negotiating enterprise-level deals for existing clients and new business
- Expand and penetrate existing clients as well as new client acquisition and adoption of new products and systems
- Ideal Candidate Profile
- 4–6 years’ experience in Account Management or Sales, ideally within relevant sectors.
- Proven ability to deliver consultative, enterprise‑level sales, including strategic account planning and coordinating across multiple client‑facing teams.
- Comfortable articulating the value of primary research, expert insights, and GLG’s platform in fast‑changing markets.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships with senior executives and industry professionals.
- High levels of integrity, professionalism, and ownership.
- Demonstrated ability to take on increasing responsibility over time.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Full business proficiency in English.
