Job Purpose
As part of the Enhanced Cleaning Team, you play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe environment and limiting the transmission of COVID-19. You will ensure that all designated areas are cleaned to the highest standards and in compliance with health, safety, and COSHH regulations.
Key Details
Schedule: Weekend – 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Contract Type: Temporary
Duration: 1 November to 28 December
Key Responsibilities
Carry out regular and enhanced cleaning duties across the building.
Increase the frequency of cleaning, especially in high-traffic and touch-point areas such as:
Door handles
Light switches
Kitchen and food preparation areas
Bathrooms and washrooms
Ensure all cleaning is conducted to the required quality standards and within health and safety guidelines.
Follow all COSHH procedures when handling cleaning products and equipment.
Maintain cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and orderly manner.
Adhere strictly to COVID-19 cleaning protocols and any site-specific safety procedures.
Report any maintenance or safety issues to the site supervisor or manager immediately.
Cooperate fully with on-site staff and supervisors to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.
Required Documentation
Basic DBS certificate (must be presented on site).
Valid photo ID (must be presented on site).
Previous cleaning or facilities maintenance experience preferred but not essential.
Uniform and Presentation
Black button-up shirt (ironed)
Black tie
Smart black suit trousers (no jeans, cropped, or skinny styles)
Black leather shoes (no loafers, boots, trainers, ballet pumps, or heels)
Black long socks
Fingernails short; no nail varnish or facial piercings permitted
Access Information
You must provide a hard copy of your photo ID and DBS certificate upon arrival.
