Job Title: Freelance English to Dutch (and occasionally) Dutch to English Translator Company: European Pharmaceutical Company Reports To: Marketing Manager/Marketing Operations Associate Location: Remote Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced English-to-Dutch translator to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating a wide range of medical and scientific documents, including clinical studies, research papers, product brochures, patient booklets, prescriber booklets, and PowerPoint presentations. The goal is to ensure accurate and culturally appropriate translation of these materials for use in the Italian market, particularly to support the promotion and adoption of our pharmaceutical products among Dutch healthcare professionals. Key Responsibilities: • Accurately translate a wide range of medical and scientific documents from English to Dutch, including: o Clinical trial protocols and reports o Scientific research papers and publications o Product brochures and patient information leaflets o Prescriber information and marketing materials o PowerPoint presentations for medical conferences and sales meetings • Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and fluency of all translations, adhering to strict medical and scientific terminology. • Maintain a high level of quality and consistency across all translations. • Maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and pharmaceutical industry best practices. • Proofread and edit translations for accuracy, clarity, and consistency. • Maintain confidentiality and data security at all times. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a professional medical translator, with a strong focus on English to Dutch. • Excellent command of both English and Dutch, including medical and scientific terminology. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent written and communication skills. • Ability to work independently. • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
