Engineering Technician (Multi-Skilled) Location: Sussex (covering multiple hospital sites)Salary: £24-£26ph £31000-£37000Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per weekContract: Ongoing / Temp-to-PermRecruiter:Insight Executive GroupAbout the RoleInsight Executive Group is delighted to be working with a leading NHS organisation to recruit an experienced and motivated Engineering Technician (Multi-Skilled).This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified maintenance engineer to join a busy Estates and Facilities team, supporting the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable building and engineering services across a large healthcare estate.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of mechanical, electrical, and medical systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical distribution, BMS, and medical gases.Respond promptly to maintenance requests, faults, and emergencies to ensure the continuity of patient care.Deputise for Team Leaders when required.Undertake duties as a Competent or Authorised Person for specialist systems (such as Legionella, medical gases, pressure systems, ventilation, or electrical safety).Supervise and coordinate maintenance assistants and contractors, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.Participate in the on-call rota to provide essential out-of-hours engineering support.Promote compliance with Health & Safety regulations and Trust policies, ensuring all work meets statutory and quality standards.About YouCompleted a recognised engineering apprenticeship and hold
