Please speak to your recruiter about the options for this particular role Salary: Up to £70,000 depending on skills and experience What you’ll be doing: Lead and manage a team of Product Safety and Environmental Engineers in their delivery of Product Safety & Environmental engineering to meet product technical requirements, customer requirements and the needs of the businessEnsure each team member is assessed, developed, deployed and skilled to maximise their personal contribution and to meet the requirements of their role, and projects they are assignedIdentify safety resource requirements through the lifecycle of the projects and manage safety engineering resource within agreed limitsPerform appropriate engineering planning, management and review activities to ensure Products are integrated, safe, fully compliant and delivered within agreed requirements for cost, quality, time with respect to Product and Environmental SafetyEnsure capability and skills development, performance optimisation & maximisation and efficient use of engineering and functional resources to meet product environmental and safety targetsReview the processes and procedures within the span of control to reduce waste, improve efficiency and establish a dynamic and flexible best in class capabilityInterface and influence internal and external (customer and other stakeholders) such that product offerings meet safety and environmental requirementsEnsure all Torpedo Design & Manufacturing project area safety engineering activities are undertaken in line with the Product Safety Management System Framework and that compliance with all relevant engineering policies is maintained <strong
