  • This role offers the opportunity to lead and grow a high-performing remote engineering team, delivering impactful software solutions on a global scale. You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of enterprise-grade SaaS platforms while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and technical excellence. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will remove obstacles, optimize workflows, and ensure quality and efficiency across the software lifecycle. The position provides a dynamic, remote-first environment where your leadership directly influences team growth, product success, and customer satisfaction. You will mentor engineers, contribute hands-on when needed, and drive continuous improvement to maintain high standards in coding, architecture, and operational processes.
  • Accountabilities
  • Lead a remote, international team of software engineers to deliver high-impact features and projects.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership by participating in coding, code reviews, and architectural decisions.
  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performance team culture with effective knowledge sharing.
  • Set performance expectations, conduct evaluations, provide coaching, and mentor team members.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements across the software development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to remove obstacles and ensure successful delivery of software solutions.
  • Promote best practices in coding standards, software architecture, and agile methodologies.
  • 7+ years of experience in backend development (e.g., PHP, Java).
  • 2+ years of experience managing remote, international software engineering teams.
  • Hands-on experience contributing to codebases and reviewing code to ensure quality.
  • Strong knowledge of SaaS software technologies, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Excellent project management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills.
  • BS or MS in computer science or a related technical field.
