We’re looking for an experienced automation specialist to design and build a robust, end-to-end workflow in Microsoft Power Automate that connects Outlook, OneDrive, and Xero. The current process is heavily manual — purchase orders (POs) arrive by email, are manually entered into Xero, and then invoices are prepared, approved, or emailed according to the client type. We now want to streamline and automate as much of this process as possible while preserving certain client-specific rules. The task will be to: Map and understand the existing workflow (we’ll provide full process documentation). Design a new automated version using Power Automate, with integration into Xero through OAuth2 and API calls. Implement conditional logic so different client types follow different invoice and communication rules. Deliver a working flow (or set of flows), documentation, and a testing/demo session. You will not need access to our live accounting data. We will create the necessary Xero connections on our side; you will build and deliver the automation logic. The ideal candidate will have experience in integrating these platforms to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
