We are looking for an Employment Advisor with previous employer engagement experience. Will be required to source employers and then engage them with a view to them signing up to RNIB’s Visibly Better Employer quality standard. Once employers have signed up to work with us, Employment Advisor will be required to support the employer by creating a SMART and bespoke action plan for the employer outlining what they must do to meet the standard. This will involve 1-1 support; liaising with Managers, HR, ED&I leads and other key decision makers within those employers to ensure they work towards the action plan to meet the requirements to become a Visibly Better Employer.
Once the employer has achieved RNIB’s Visibly Better Employer quality standard, Employment Advisor will continue to work with them for a minimum of three years (the duration of the standard). During this time, Employment Advisor must maintain regular contact with employer, meeting every month, obtaining and accurately recording data required for KPI’s, and ensuring employer is re-evaluated against the standard every 12 months, and fully re-assessed against the standard every 3 years.
What you’ll be doing
- Employer engagement – sourcing and then approaching various employers and key decision makers within them.
- Employer action plans – creating SMART and bespoke action plans for employers outlining what they need to do to achieve RNIB Visibly Better Employer quality standard.
- Records - create individual and employer records on internal CRM system, and ensuring they are kept up to date and accurate.
- Promoting VBE – attend events both online and in person to promote Visibly Better Employer to employers.
- Host webinars – host webinars via MS Teams to groups of employers who have expressed an interest in VBE and want to learn more.
- Data – obtain and accurately record data from employers to meet KPI’s.
What you’ll need to succeed in this role.
- You’ll have experience of employer engagement and creating SMART action plans.
- You’ll be comfortable with public speaking, attending engagement events, closing deals i.e. getting employers to commit.
- You’ll understand the bigger picture and the importance of our work which contributes to increasing the employment rate of BPSP.
- You’ll be able to/enjoy speaking with various audiences and people at all employment levels including HR, Managers, Heads of Departments, key decision makers etc.
- You’ll like attention to detail to ensure action plans are SMART and all records are kept up to date and accurate on internal CRM system.
