  • What will you be doing?
  • We’re seeking a talented Employee Relations Manager to join our HR Advisory team in London. You will be responsible for providing ER and HR Advisory support to both employees and managers across the Company by leading a team of HR Advisers to deliver a high-quality service across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Working with the wider HR team, particularly the HR Business Partners and Leadership Team, to provide advice, guidance and support and be a subject matter expert on the full employee lifecycle, ensuring a high-quality service to employees and managers.
  • This is a fast paced, high volume role with direct line management of two Senior HR Advisors and two HR Advisors.

As Employee Relations Manager, your responsibilities will include among others

  • Manage, and be the point of escalation, on various ER and HR queries throughout the Company working in conjunction with the HR Services and Regulatory HR team
  • Create, review, and improve processes associated with HR policy and employee relations issues to ensure they are effective, efficient and in-line with employment legislation
  • Support the design and delivery of training sessions and interventions which help to meet employee needs and business objectives
  • Analyse, present, and communicate HR data in a meaningful way which helps HR Business Partners and business units manage their functions and support change initiatives
  • Support the HR Business Partners with complex employee relations issues and resolve internal complaints, keeping up to date with employment legislation and employee relationship trends and support the development of HR Policy
  • Develop effective working relationships with internal and external clients and continually search for ways to increase client satisfaction
  • Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and how to practically apply it within a Financial/Professional Services business
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Analytical with good attention to detail when reviewing data and process
  • Ability to work under pressure, maintaining accuracy whilst achieving timescales
  • High computer literacy including advanced skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, reporting from HRIS

Desired

  • Previous experience as an ER Manager previously, dealing with high volume cases
