Employee Relations Specialist Job Type: Full-timeLocation: London BridgeSalary: £35,000 - £38,000 We are seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing a variety of employee relations cases, providing first-line advice to managers, and supporting the development and implementation of HR policies. The ideal candidate will be adept at handling non-complex cases independently while supporting ER Managers with more complex situations. Day-to-day of the role: Respond to all new cases submitted via the case management system, escalating issues to an ER Manager where appropriate, or managing within policy.Maintain own caseload within agreed SLAs for non-complex cases.Provide first-line advice and guidance to people managers on a full range of people matters, including policy, attendance, grievance, disciplinary, early-stage conduct, performance capability, and escalating all complex queries.Support ER Managers with case preparation, including developing and drafting templates to ensure best practice and consistency across the team.Facilitate training sessions on core ER policies, helping managers understand and apply key procedures confidently and consistently.Maintain accurate records, uploading documents to the case management system and tracking case progress.Support policy development, updates, and communication across the business as required. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proven experience in an Employee Relations role.Strong understanding of HR policies and procedures.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet SLAs.Experience in training and supporting managers with HR processes.Proficient in using HR systems and case management tools.
