Electrical EngineerLocation: LEGOLAND Windsor Resort, Windsor, SL4 4AYHours: Shift patterns (Early Shifts & Late Shifts) will be discussed at interviewContract Type: Permanent, SalariedHere at the LEGOLAND Windsor Resort our 2025 season is in full swing, and we are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to join our AWESOME Technical Services Team As an Electrical Engineer you will be responsible for completing a variety of planned (PPM’s) and reactive maintenance across our PLC controlled Rides & Attractions. A key element of this role is to ensure that our Rides & Attractions have a 99% technical ride availability.Our Electrical Engineers will undertake ride start up tasks each morning, ensuring our rides are safe, secure and can operate efficiently with the relevant documentation completed accurately and in line with departmental procedures. Throughout the operational day you will respond to any unplanned ride downtime, carry out fault finding and continuously champion health and safety best practice.In this unique and skilled role, you will have the opportunity to interact with our resort guests so naturally you’ll be approachable, enthusiastic about our brand and keen to share your resort recommendations with guests of all ages Qualifications & Experience Qualified to a City & Guild or NVQ level 2 or equivalent within an Electrical Engineering / Technician disciplineExperience of fault finding and use of programmable logic controls (PLC’s) such as; Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley, MitsubishiExperience of working within a heavy industrial / automated environment such as; FMCG, Manufacturing, Logistics, Airport or Theme ParkKnowledge and practical experience of various motor controls including inverters
