Job description:Provide accurate, routine administrative support so the Electoral Services team can meet statutory deadlines for registration and election delivery. The post holder carries out day to day processing of registration and absent voting applications, data entry and filing in the Election Management System, prepares standard letters and packs, and supports poll card, postal vote and count preparations under supervision. The role is primarily office based with work at other venues in the borough as required. The focus is on completing repetitive tasks to set procedures and timescales, escalating non standard cases to senior staff.Knowledge and experienceExperience of administrative or clerical work in a busy office environment is.Comfortable carrying out routine and repetitive tasks to a high standard of accuracy.Confident using Microsoft Office applications (now known as Microsoft 365), including Outlook, Word and Excel, for everyday office tasks such as emails, document editing and basic spreadsheets.Awareness of electoral registration and elections is helpful, but full training will be provided.Job Types: Full-time, Temp to permExperience:Administrative: 5 years (required)RQ1638171: 1 year (preferred)Work Location: Hybrid remote in London N22Electoral Services Assistant Electoral Services Assistant Electoral Services Assistant Electoral Services Assistant Electoral Services Assistant Electoral Services Assistant
