Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading manufacturing business, part of a highly successful global group, to assist with their search for an accomplished EHS Manager. Overall Purpose: Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing EHS programs, policies, and procedures at the Newton Aycliffe site. A passionate, energetic and engaging leader in EHS, that promotes safety as a core value and partners with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Will be responsible for promoting and driving continuous EHS improvements that will engage staff, promote a positive safety culture and will result in the reduction of injuries and assures regulatory compliance. Whilst the role is based at Newton Aycliffe, it will require additional UK travel to other sites and occasional overseas travel as required to fulfill the role. The role will provide direct support and assistance to other UK site. There will be a direct team member based there. Therefore, annual target setting, regular appraisals and management of this individual will be required. Key Duties: Support Plant, Warehouse & Office Management: Provide the necessary support, advice and management to deliver exceptional EHS standards.Establish annual safety objectives in line with business strategy to drive key safety metrics and KPI's to support the company's safety targets and report these metrics monthly.Serve as the technical resource for incident investigation and causal factor/root cause analysis; lead investigations and work with plant leadership to implement an action plan following root cause analysis.Implement systems, programmes and standards that will help enhance the existing positive safety culture.Assist in the development (a
