Base Salary $126,065- $142,171 + 17% superannuation About the opportunity The new Workplace Operations team works closely with professional and academic colleagues to ensure the University meets its operational compliance obligations in relation to casual academics. The team drives continuous improvement, embeds consistent best‑practice processes and frameworks, and oversees operational compliance across all faculties and business areas—ensuring cohesive, rigorous standards and that casual academic staff are paid accurately in line with University policies and procedures and legislative requirements. The Education & Training Advisor plays a key role in designing and delivering engaging, high-quality learning solutions that build capability and support compliance across a large and diverse university environment. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, you’ll translate policy, regulatory and operational requirements into accessible, learner focused training using contemporary digital and face-to-face approaches. This role suits an experienced instructional designer or training professional who enjoys partnering with clients, managing end-to-end learning projects, and using adult learning principles to create meaningful learning experiences that drive positive behavioural change and organisational outcomes. Your key responsibilities will be to: design and deliver engaging training and compliance learning for university staff partner with stakeholders to identify needs and develop practical, learner focused solutions manage end-to-end learning projects from concept through to delivery facilitate training sessions across in person, online and self-service channels evaluate training impact and use insights to continuously improve learning outcomes apply contemporary instructional design and digital tools to enhance the learner experience. About you experience designing and delivering engaging training or eLearning able to translate complex or compliance content into clear learning strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills organised and confident managing multiple learning projects skilled in digital learning tools and adult learning principles proactive, detail focused and committed to quality improvement.
