Exciting opportunity to support teaching and learning activities for the Centre for English Teaching (CET) + Learning Hub unit Casual role starting ASAP HEO 6 Step 1 $70.63 per hour + super About the opportunity As the Education Services Officer, you will proactively assist the Deputy Director, Education Services with the coordination and execution of multiple unit-wide services, systems, and programs to support teaching and learning program delivery, design, quality, and innovation at CET + Learning Hub. You will utilise your experience and focus on the backend coordination of systems and procedures in relation to student engagement and support programs, support initiatives timetabling, venue booking, student case management, COS and ICT technology assistance, and WHS. This role has a particular focus on student engagement across equity cohorts. Your key responsibilities will be to: work within a dynamic team, reporting to the Deputy Director, Education Services in operationalising all CET + Learning Hub student engagement and support program activities, ensuring the sufficient quantity and breadth of student events are met respond to a range of logistic and other service requirements necessary to assist the operations of teaching and learning in CET + Learning Hub provide appropriate student engagement-related data input for the CET + Learning Hub student management system assist with the preparation of systematic, periodic, and ad hoc reports and returns, student engagement data, student number projections, applications for certification, and student surveys contribute to a safe and healthy workplace as a trained and accredited First Aid Officer, floor warden and WHS representative for teaching staff. About you tertiary qualifications and/or relevant work experience in a related field excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise with staff at all levels, international students, and other areas of the university as necessary strong organisational skills and attention to detail experience in a digital work environment, using specialised programs, database and information retrieval systems, in-house publishing programs, word processing programs, and website maintenance and updating strong working knowledge of Excel and other MS Office applications demonstrated office management and computing skills, and the ability to prepare, publish and present periodic and ad hoc reports and deal with matters of a highly confidential nature demonstrated ability to adhere to corporate regulations and procedures, interpret requirements, adapt resource allocations, and accept responsibility for outcomes Sponsorship / work rights for Australia Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This role requires valid work rights for Australia.
