Business Analyst - EDM Location: London (Hybrid)Contract Type: 6-Month Rolling ContractIndustry: Financial Services Overview A global financial institution is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support enhancements and data integration initiatives across its Enterprise Data Management (EDM) platform and downstream trading and risk systems. The role focuses on ensuring the accurate flow, transformation, and validation of market, securities, pricing, and party data between EDM and Murex, supporting key business functions and automation objectives. Key Responsibilities Act as the liaison between business stakeholders, data management, and technology teams to capture and document functional and technical requirements. Develop detailed Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), process maps, and data mapping specifications for EDM-Murex integration workflows. Document and validate data flows across the EDM lifecycle - including sourcing, staging, cleansing, and downstream distribution. Collaborate with technology teams to define schema validation, data transformation logic, and workflow automation. Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure end-to-end data accuracy and completeness. Map current vs. target-state processes for CDS and Equity trade bookings, identifying manual touchpoints and proposing automation solutions. Maintain a strong awareness of operational risk linked to incomplete or incorrect reference data and support remediation and control improvements. Key Skills
