About

  • Swoon is on a mission to be the home for style-obsessed, price-aware furniture lovers. We launch ~50 new products online every month, and we need an Ecommerce Manager who can keep pace – running the shop, driving new product launches on time, leading a team of freelancers, owning the tech, and driving measurable growth.
  • This isn’t a “maintain the site” role. This is about trading hard, improving relentlessly, and delivering a site experience so good our customers can’t stop scrolling.
  • What you’ll do
  • Lead the shopfront: Own daily site trading, spot risks and opportunities, and act fast.
  • Deliver launches at scale: Manage the end-to-end launch of ~50 new products a month – right first time, every time.
  • Define resource requirements and lead a team: Manage a network of freelancers from photographers to retouchers to site administrators. Find specialists and agencies as and when required for UX, SEO and best-in-class visuals.
  • Own the tech stack: PIM, Site Merchandising Tool, 3D modelling partner, and our Magento ecommerce platform. Keep them running, improve them, and make them work harder for the business.
  • Drive UX improvements: Manage the UX roadmap, tech budget, and run UAT for every release.
  • Make it look exceptional: Oversee visuals, AI-generated lifestyle imagery, video, and 360s that set the standard in online furniture retail.
  • Grow our organic reach: Own on-site SEO, improve rankings, and pull in sustainable traffic.
  • 3+ years in ecommerce/trading, ideally in retail or DTC.
  • Able to lead a function but also willing to execute when required.
  • Proven track record in high-volume product launches.
  • Confidence in managing multiple tech platforms and improving their ROI.
  • Data-driven mindset with analytical skills.
  • Upbeat, ambitious and collaborative, that’s us. We’re a lean team of 25, so if you relish responsibility and like to directly influence outcomes, this is your place.
  • We’ve made flexible working a permanent part of our culture. The team works remotely across the UK, but we meet a few times a month for day‑long workshops in London.
