• Your Role as a Level 4 Early Years Educator Apprentice

As a Level 4 apprentice, you will take on increased responsibility within the setting while developing leadership and mentoring skills. Working closely with senior practitioners, your role will include

• Planning, leading, and evaluating high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS
• Supporting and mentoring junior staff or Level 2/3 apprentices, where appropriate
• Acting as a key person for a group of children, including observations, assessments, and next steps
• Contributing to learning journals and monitoring children’s progress and development
• Supporting inclusive practice and adapting provision to meet individual learning needs
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
• Ensuring safeguarding, health, and safety procedures are followed at all times
• Building strong professional relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Supporting daily routines, transitions, and the effective running of the nursery
• You will be encouraged to reflect on practice, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting.
• Training and Qualification Details

Your apprenticeship training will be delivered by Professional Training Solutions and includes
