Part Time Duty & Triage IDVA Location: East London & HybridHours: 22.5 hours per week over 3 daysContract: 2 months with the potential to extendSalary: £15-20 per hour About the Role We are seeking an experienced and motivated Duty & Triage IDVA to act as the first point of contact for an advocacy and support service supporting survivors of domestic and sexual violence.This role is central to ensuring survivors receive a timely, safe and effective response. You will manage incoming referrals, carry out risk and needs assessments, deliver safety planning, and provide advice and guidance to survivors and professionals. You will work closely with a team of IDVAs to ensure cases are triaged appropriately and allocated where necessary.The post offers a balance of duty-based work, short-term intervention and multi-agency collaboration, with opportunities to provide hybrid support including face-to-face appointments, court and professional meetings. Key Responsibilities Act as the first point of contact for all incoming referrals and enquiriesProcess and triage referrals in line with duty proceduresConduct risk assessments and safety planning with survivorsManage the duty phone line and respond to professionals and members of the publicAllocate cases to IDVAs where appropriateProvide short-term advice, guidance and support to survivors not open to ongoing caseworkContribute to team meetings, case reviews and service performanceMaintain accurate, confidential and up-to-date case recordsSupport the collection of outcomes, monitoring and service evaluationEnsure safeguarding responsibilities for adults and children are upheld at all timesEmbed equality, divers
