The Role: Food Technician
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled and motivated Food Technician to join a dynamic team in Bradford. The successful candidate will be the linchpin of the Food Technology department, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of lessons and practical sessions.

Requirements
- Proven experience working in a kitchen or food-related environment.
- A strong understanding of health and safety legislation in a kitchen setting.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Enhanced Child DBS on the updated service (Willingness to apply for one)

Responsibilities
- Preparing ingredients and equipment for practical lessons.
- Assisting teachers and students during practical sessions.
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
- Managing stock levels and ordering new supplies.
- Ensuring all equipment is in good working order and reporting any faults.
- Assisting with the development of new recipes and lesson plans.
- Adhering to strict health and safety regulations.
- Supporting the teacher with classroom management.
- Keeping a detailed record of all inventory and usage.
- Assisting in the preparation for food technology exams and assessments.
