An exciting opportunity has arisen within Adult Social Care for aandnbsp;Deprivation of Libertiesandnbsp;Team Manager to be appointed. The post holder will andnbsp;lead and manage the DoLS Team in delivering statutory responsibilities under the Mental Capacity Act 2005, ensuring timely, lawful, and person-centred assessments and authorisations of deprivation of liberty.



The postholder will oversee operational delivery, staff supervision, quality assurance, and strategic development of the service.andnbsp;andnbsp;You will possess a working knowledge of legislative and statutory requirements, as well as an ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with relevant key partners such as Health and Social Care partners, amongst others.



You will have excellent communication skills and be familiar with Performance Management and analysis as well as team planning and evaluation activities. You will be highly skilled in providing supervision.andnbsp;



You will have a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the Safeguarding Adults agenda and will be highly skilled in Risk Management.



You must hold a Social Work qualification or equivalent i.e. MA or BA in Social Work, Dip SW CQSW or CSS. You must also have a current registration with Social Work England.



You may have previous experience of leadership and management.
