We're looking for a highly organised, flexible and discreet Director's Assistant/Assistant to support an early career filmmaker working on short films. This role involves a mixture of administrative and personal tasks. You'll help with everything from the fundraising and the development process to diary management and errands, enabling the Director to focus on the creative process.This position begins with a paid one-month trial to assess fit, after which it will convert into a full-time role. The work is primarily home-based in Leeds, and there will be occasional travel to London and other cities. The successful candidate will be kind, emotionally intelligent, resilient and able to communicate in a consistent, supportive way, with relevant experience.Responsibilities(Administrative & Creative Support):Manage diary and calendar.Draft professional correspondence.Make calls on behalf of the Director.Plan and organise travel logistics.Assist with fundraising and short film applications.Prepare funding submission materials.Act as a sounding board for creative brainstorming.Take minutes during meetings.Support on set film shoots.Attend and research relevant events.Responsibilities(Personal & Logistical Support):Run errands and support daily logistics.Accompany the Director to appointments.Provide occasional driving to meetings or shoots (full UK license required).Work comfortably from the Director's home (small dog present).Be flexible to support during travel or busy production periods.Qualifications& RequirementsIdeally, based in or near Leeds.Willingness to travel when required.Must have an awareness of neurodiversity and ADH
