PURPOSE This role exists to establish and drive the product strategy and operational framework for the International (Europe-aligned) Product Organisation. As a senior leader within the International product team, you translate the strategy into executable plans for the region, manage intra-regional complexity — including addressing data residency challenges — and enable continuous delivery of high-impact payment solutions in the EMEA business. You will spearhead new initiatives to build out the processes and tools needed to ensure our payment solutions comply with European data handling regulations and partner policies. This focus on data residency ensures that sensitive data, including personally identifiable information, stays within approved regions, keeping our solutions viable for enterprise clients with strict data location requirements. The role will work closely with the Director of Product Operations, International, and the Director of Product Operations, APAC, to ensure EMEA alignment with the International Product Organisation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Cross-functional strategy and planning Lead definition of OKRs for EMEA product teams which will be defined annually with quarterly refinements. Lead cross-functional strategic planning with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams to ensure product initiatives align with EMEA business objectives and meet data residency requirements. Identify and prioritize initiatives across EMEA markets, coordinating with global counterparts to address regional needs and regulatory constraints. Product discipline and ways of working Collaborates with Director of Product Operations, International and Director of Product Operations, APAC to ensure seamless integration of international product methodologies into EMEA product teams. Establish and enforce standardized product operations processes and best practices across EMEA teams, integrating data sovereignty requirements into everyday workflows. Provide systematic and constructive feedback on ways to increase team velocity and quality to co-design ongoing best-in-class delivery models for regions. Target state architecture Responsible product roadmap prioritisation and development. Partners with all EMEA-based product managers to ensure delivery of initiatives prioritised in alignment with ways of working and comply with EMEA data residency requirements.. Consolidate target-state process maps across all EMEA subdomains with an initial focus to co-define and design EMEA Target Architecture Model (TAM) in partnership with EMEA product manager domain leads and international product. Design and articulate EMEA product placemat in partnership with product managers. Own optimisation of the product tool chain (Jira, Aha!, Confluence), driving adoption metrics, cost efficiencies, and data integrity. Data-driven performance metrics Define and track core metrics (cycle time, feature adoption, P&L variances) and track adherence to data residency requirements across EMEA via dashboards and reports in Looker/Tableau. Provide strategic analysis and recommendations to leadership on portfolio health, market fit, and go-forward investments. Leadership and culture Act as a strategic advisor to the EMEA-based Product leaders,fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and compliance with data residency requirements. Mentor product managers; cultivate a culture of operational rigor, collaboration, and customer obsession. QUALIFICATIONS Required 10+ years in Product Operations, Program Management, or Product Management at a high-growth technology or fintech organisation. Strong understanding of the Payments, eCommerce and SaaS and markets for small and medium sized businesses. Understanding of complex software product development in a regulated fintech environment. Demonstrated success as part of global, cross-regional operations teams across EMEA (Europe). Proven ability to design and scale processes. Experience with Jira, Aha!, Confluence and data visualisation tools (Looker, Tableau) preferable. Demonstrated values of Passion, Care, Accountability, Excellence and Ingenuity to collaborate with team and deliver outcomes in a global matrix organisation. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, or related field. Preferred Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or equivalent strategic leadership credential.
